Jo Muir

Jo joined the Les Amis Team in April 2016 as Head of Human Resources (HR). Her main responsibility is to manage an effective HR function, providing advice and guidance to managers and employees, ensuring compliance with statutory and legal requirements. Jo’s role is extremely varied; including recruitment, absence management, employee benefits, policy writing and training and development.

Prior to joining Les Amis, Jo was HR Partner for the Operations Department at Jersey Post for 8 years. This position maximised her skills in change management, investigation and disciplinary, talent management and employee relations.

Jo is CPP qualified, she holds a Master’s of Science degree in HR Management from Bournemouth University and a Certificate in Personnel Practice. She also holds a Bachelor of Honours degree in Community and Education Studies from the University of St Mark and St John in Plymouth.
