Les Amis Residential services comprises of fourteen registered properties across the Island. All but one of these properties is rented either through Housing Trusts such as Le Vaux and Andium or through private landlords. The residents currently living within this service are men and women who range in age from 18 to 80+ years.
Our properties range from a one-bedroom flat to six-bedroomed houses. One of our main aims is to offer a homely environment where the residents feel free to express themselves and make real choices that affect their lives. By empowering the individuals we support, the Les Amis residential service helps residents learn the necessary life skills to enable them to participate in, and contribute to, their local communities as valued members of society.
The residents, with support from staff, are involved in the day to day decisions of running their own homes.
Our residential services provide for the varied and complex needs of our residents and are staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. The Operations Manager oversees over 90 members of staff, including six of the Registered Managers who oversee either one or two residential properties. Les Amis’ dedicated staff teams provide professional support for all residents, striving to ensure they lead lives as positive and fulfilling as possible.
Les Amis employs a diverse group of staff from all walks of life with the aim to provide positive role models to our equally diverse group of residents.
Les Amis work closely with families, carers and other professionals in order to encourage open communication and ensure that we provide a package of care that meets the specific needs of the individuals being supported.
Les Amis provides a high quality and standard of care. All fourteen residential properties are registered with the States of Jersey Health Minister and are inspected twice a year by the Professional and Care Regulations Team (PCRT).

All staff employed by Les Amis complete a mandatory six week induction programme and a bespoke package of training relevant to the individuals they will be supporting.
