Gary Hedgecock

"I enjoy working for Les Amis because not only do we support our Residents but we are supported with our career too. As well, Les Amis promotes best practice and this is done by challenging current practices. We are leaders in change!"

Gary started working at Les Amis in 2008 as a support worker, since then he has achieved the position of Registered Manager for two homes; La Tour and Kerousseaux 3. Gary leads a team of thirteen Residential Support Workers and within the homes under his wing, there are six residents in total.

Gary is dedicated to encouraging the people he works with and for, to realise their full potential and feel supported and safe in the process. He understands the great benefit of working hard to achieve all you can as he has done much the same in his ever evolving role at Les Amis. In addition to his role as Registered Manager, Gary offers certified Food Safety Qualification through CIEH. Working toward his QCF Level 5 Management in Health and Social care, Gary is always garnering more experience and ensuring he is at the forefront of the very best practice for care of the residents at Les Amis.
