Lead Nurse

A fantastic opportunity to work for an Investors in People Gold accredited organisation, as Lead Nurse within our new & exciting Maison des Amis nursing unit opening in October 2026.

Working within a small but very busy unit with 5 rooms providing clinical leadership of nursing tasks for adults with learning disabilities and/or associated conditions, including responsibility for clinical standards, budget & resource oversight, & the development & implementation of evidence-based nursing practice.

The role will be accountable for the effective management of a small nursing & clinical staff team. Coordinating a range of multi-disciplinary services alongside the units Registered Manager ensuring delivery of safe, effective & person-centred nursing care to residents & service users.

The post holder will have the opportunity to work closely with the Government of Jersey LD Nursing Team.

The position is 37.5hrs p/w & requires shift work, weekends & on-call duties.

Essential requirements:

· Registered Nurse with current NMC registration

· Relevant post-registration clinical and leadership experience

· Strong knowledge of learning disability and/or complex care

· Full, valid driving licence
