Race the Sun Raises Over £3,000 for Les Amis

Over the weekend, Les Amis was delighted to attend this year's Race the Sun event, where participants and volunteers faced challenging windy and wet conditions throughout the night.

Despite the weather, the grit, determination, resilience and community spirit shown by all those involved were truly inspiring. The event brought together people of all abilities, united in their commitment to support Les Amis and the services we provide.

Thanks to the generosity and dedication of the organisers, participants, sponsors and volunteers, more than £3,000 was raised in support of Les Amis. These vital funds will help us continue providing essential services and support for people with learning disabilities and associated conditions across Jersey.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Race the Sun team for choosing Les Amis as their charity partner for this year's event and for organising such a successful experience. We are also extremely grateful to the volunteers who generously gave up their time to ensure everything ran smoothly.
