Making Memories at Clairval Farm

Feb 17, 2026

Last week, a few of our service users were delighted to visit Clairval Farm to meet some of the cows on the farm.

As noted by one of our support workers:

“A couple of them were quite worried about patting them, but they got stuck in and they really enjoyed it. These nerves quickly turned into excitement and, as you can see from the photos, confidence grew as did the smiles.”

Everyone enjoyed stroking and spending time with the cows, learning more about how the farm operates and looks after the cattle.

The experience provided our service users with a relaxing and rewarding experience connecting with the outdoors, the animals, and sharing the experience together. A few of those who attended even created a thank you card to show their appreciation.

We would like to extend our appreciation to Clairval Farm for their warm welcome and for creating such an enjoyable opportunity!
