Les Amis Africa Night

May 29, 2026

This week, Les Amis held its annual Africa Night at St Saviour's Parish Hall, celebrating and recognising the diverse and rich culture of many of our staff members.

The evening brought together staff and service users in a joyful celebration of music, community and food, creating an energy-filled atmosphere. A highlight of the night was the incredible homemade dishes made by each staff member, representing different regions across Africa. This allowed service users and staff to experience new flavours and learn more about the cultural significance behind the food and the staff who support them, creating an engaging experience for all.

The night was filled with dance and celebration, offering everyone the opportunity to get involved together. Events like this are a wonderful reminder of the diversity within our organisation and the positive impact it has on the Les Amis community.

A huge thank you to all who contributed to making the amazing food and making the night such a special occasion. We are truly grateful to our dedicated staff; sharing their cultures helps to enrich the lives of those we support every day.
