We are delighted to have received a generous grant of £45,000 from the Jersey Freemasons through the Freemasons’ Charity Community Fund, to support Maison des Amis.
This grant has helped us create an accessible outdoor space at our new facility, where the people we support can enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings and connect with the outdoors.
In making this possible, around 20 Jersey Freemasons also volunteered their time to help with landscaping, planting and painting, portraying a fantastic sense of community partnership in action.
We are incredibly appreciative for their generous support and for helping us create a space that will leave a lasting impact on those we support.
Shaun Findlay, Managing Director of Les Amis, said:
“We’re extremely grateful to Jersey Freemasons for their generous support of Project Trinity. This funding will help us create an outdoor space that, accessibility and opportunities for the people we support while they receive essential, specialised care. The involvement of local Freemasons as volunteers demonstrates the power of community partnership and will help create a lasting legacy for Jersey.”
Tim Dallas-Chapman, Head of Jersey Freemasons said:
“We’re delighted to support Project Trinity and continue our longstanding relationship with Les Amis. This project combines funding with hands-on volunteering and will deliver lasting benefits for people across the island. We’re proud that local Freemasons can play an active role in bringing this important project to life.
