Maison des Amis officially opened its doors yesterday following a special ceremony attended by the Lieutenant Governor and Lady Kyd, marking an important milestone for Les Amis.
The opening celebrated the completion of Maison des Amis, a specialised nursing facility providing dedicated care for people with learning disabilities in Jersey. The facility has been thoughtfully designed to meet residents’ individual needs, offering tailored support within a peaceful and welcoming environment.
The ceremony provided an opportunity to showcase the completed facility and recognise the collaboration, hard work and dedication that have helped bring Maison des Amis to life.
Les Amis would like to express its sincere gratitude to its major donors, whose generous support has helped make this development possible. We would also like to thank the Lieutenant Governor and Lady Kyd for officially opening the facility, alongside everyone who has contributed to bringing this important project to fruition.
Les Amis looks forward to seeing Maison des Amis grow into a welcoming home for its residents, providing the specialist care, support and environment they need to thrive.
