30 Bays in a Day

Jun 22, 2026

On 21st June, our amazing Team S.A.T took on the incredible challenge of swimming against time in support of Les Amis.

This astounding fundraising event saw Team S.A.T visit 30 of Jersey's beautiful bays in perfect weather conditions, completing approximately 30 strokes at each bay. This level of teamwork, coordination and pure determination was upheld by the team all the way to the last bay, where they celebrated their brilliant achievement at St Brelade's Bay with a slice of pizza and their final dip with our residents and other support workers.

Their grit and determination has seen them raise £2,000 in support of Les Amis. This not only showcases the beauty of Jersey's coastline but also highlights the dedication and commitment of everyone involved in supporting such an important cause. The funds raised will help Les Amis continue to provide vital support and opportunities for people with learning disabilities and associated conditions.

A huge well done to Team S.A.T and thank you to everyone who donated and supported them along the way. Every stroke matters.
