Trooper Val's Charity Skydive for Acorn

Aug 21, 2023

Proof that disability absolutely does not mean inability!

Val has been supported by Les Amis for about 22 years, and is very much living life to the full, pursuing her many passions. She loves Star Wars and enjoys weeding with her Darth Vader fork to help the Acorn Enterprises crew. She collects firefighter helmets - here, below she's been gifted another to add to her collection by the wonderful Jersey Fire & Rescue team, who came to conduct their annual fire inspection.

On Sunday 20 August, Val skydived in aid of Acorn. She took to the skies without any nerves - it's her seventh skydive after all!

To support Val reach her fundraising target of £750, donate and add your message of encouragement via her JustGiving page, click here.
