2022 Camper Van Raffle Launch at the Jersey international Motoring Festival

Jun 06, 2022

2022 Camper Van Raffle Launch

After a successful raffle last year, hard copy tickets for the Les Amis VW Camper Van Raffle will be launched at the Jersey International Motoring Festival on Friday (3rd June). The popular fund-raiser gives all of those who enter the chance to win a brand-new VW California Coast Camper Van worth over £60,000.

One lucky winner will be handed the keys to the latest modern compact motorhome which includes a pop-up roof, awning and expanded kitchen with space to sleep up to four people. Last year's winner was Hospice nurse, Tracey Fallon. Raffle entrants could also win cash prizes of £1,000 and £500.

Five thousand tickets, which cost £25 each, will be on sale. Hard copy tickets will be on sale from Friday 3rd June and online tickets will be launched 10am Monday 6th June on the following page. There are just over five months to secure yours as the raffle will close on 24 November with the draw being made at Samphire on 30th November.

Les Amis relies on donations to deliver many of its services and the funds raised from the raffle will make a big difference to the vital work the charity does in supporting people with learning disabilities.

Jason Loveless, Head of Support Services, said: “The camper van arrived in the island earlier this month and is already attracting interest from those visiting the showroom at Motor Mall. It is always a popular raffle so I would urge you to buy a ticket as soon as possible because they are likely to sell out fast. After taking a break in 2020, we had a brilliant response from islanders last year, and I was so pleased that the winner was a Jersey Hospice nurse. The raffle raises vital funds for our services which are needed by many islanders. Once again, I would like to thank Motor Mall for making this possible by providing us with this fantastic VW Camper Van at cost price.”

For further information, or to arrange an interview, please contact Jason Loveless at Les Amis on 01534 850630 or 07700332160, or by emailing

Raffle tickets are available online via the Les Amis website. Physical tickets can be bought at Les Amis at Five Oaks, Motor Mall and by checking the website for dates when the charity will be in town or at events.

The last purchase date is at midnight 24/11/22.

The Draw is due to take place on 30/11/22.
