Les Amis Relief Worker

Are you interested in working in the care sector and looking for a new challenge? Or are you a healthcare professional looking for some additional shifts?

Les Amis are looking for enthusiastic and motivated relief staff to join our award-winning team.

We have a wide range of opportunities for experienced individuals and people who have limited to no experience to work in our Residential and/or Community Support Services. This is a fantastic chance to be part of one of Jersey’s largest charities and gain an insight into a career in the healthcare industry.

Les Amis will provide all the necessary training to ensure all employees are capable and confident to support individuals with learning disabilities under Les Amis care.

Our Relief Workers are offered highly competitive rates, depending on qualifications and experience. An indication of effective hourly rates is as follows:

  • Care shifts Monday to Friday at a rate of £15.25-£17.69
  • Care shifts Saturday and Sundays at a rate of £16.23-£18.82

The ideal applicants will have:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Genuine interest in working with individuals with a learning disability
  • Ability to be flexible, adaptable and reliable
  • Good team work skills
  • Valid driving licence – manual not automatic
  • Satisfactory DBS check

Les Amis is one of Jersey’s largest charitable organisations and one of the biggest respite and residential service providers on the island. Established in 1975, Les Amis is now made up of a team of around 200 employees.
