CIPD Shortlisted Les Amis

Nov 06, 2017

Les Amis was shortlisted for this year’s prestigious CIPD Jersey Branch Awards 2017 – celebrating outstanding achievement in people management and development.

Shortlisted to the final three for the Rossborough Financial Award for Outstanding Employee Engagement Les Amis was in good company with Sure (Jersey) Limited and Voisins Department Store Limited also shortlisted.

A good understanding of its employees’ motivators and a well thought-out strategy to encourage the workforce to perform at its best were key elements of the awards criteria.

The awards were judged by a panel of industry experts and senior HR professionals who announced Sure (Jersey) Limited as the winner.

Shaun Findlay, Managing Director of Les Amis, said: “We were delighted to be shortlisted for the Outstanding Employee Engagement Award. For the past four years Les Amis has been constantly developing to ensure that the organisation is doing better both for its staff and residents. Earlier this year our efforts were recognised when Les Amis was awarded a Silver Investors in People award placing Les Amis in the top five per cent of the 14,000 organisations registered with Investors in People across the world.”

“It was a great honour to attend the CIPD Awards. I would like to thank all our staff and in particular the HR team headed up by Jo Muir for all their hard work in creating an engaging work environment at Les Amis.”

Les Amis staff attended the CIPD Awards and Gala Dinner on Saturday 4th November at the Royal Yacht Hotel to celebrate the team’s success.
