Hot Chocolate for Les Amis and Lovers

Feb 22, 2016

On a weekend synonymous with devilish decadence, Les Amis encouraged Islanders to get into the Valentine’s mood with a Hot Chocolate Sale in St Helier. The delicious hot chocolate was an exciting new offering from Jersey Dairy and customers were encouraged to give their feedback. Following on from the success of our Valentines sale we decided to hold another during Downs Awareness Week.

The support from the community was overwhelming and Les Amis raised an astonishing £704.11 on our first sale and £920.20 on our second making a total of £1,624.31 . We would like to thank everyone for their generosity.

Lauren Carré, PR/Marketing and Fundraising Assistant at Les Amis, said: “We just wanted to get everyone in the spirit and what better way than with a soothing hot chocolate on a bracing winter day. I would like to say a massive ‘thank you’ to Jersey Dairy for supplying the hot chocolate as well as Coopers & Co, the Jersey Field Squadron and the Parish of St Helier for their support.”
