Les Amis launches new forum: Empowering Families and Carers

Mar 18, 2024

Les Amis launches its new families and informal carers forum designed to foster co-production and collaboration. The organisation recognizes the vital role families and carers play in supporting their loved ones, often going above and beyond to provide unpaid and invaluable care. It is only natural to involve them in shaping the services they utilise.

The forum aims to create a supportive space for families and carers to:

  • Stay informed: Les Amis will share organisational updates, answer questions, and provide relevant resources
  • Contribute their ideas: Les Amis views families and carers as an invaluable source of insight and works alongside them to improve service delivery and ensure that their voices remain heard
  • Build connections: The forum will develop the sense of community and belonging among families and carers

Les Amis encourages all families and informal carers who utilise its services to join the forum. The forum first met in Februrary 2024 and will continue to hold regular meetings to facilitate discussions and exchange ideas. If you would like to get involved with the forum, email info@lesamis.org.je.
