Les Amis Social Club cycles without limits

This summer, 20 residents and 12 staff from Les Amis has a great time, cycling around Les Quennevais Park on adapted bikes.

The event was organised by Les Amis Social Club, which aims to enhance the care experience at Les Amis - providing residents with range of opportunities to try new things, socialise and be part of a community.

Cycle Without Limits is part of Jersey Sport's Move More programme, and aims to be a truly inclusive cycle centre which offers trikes, recumbent bikes, handcycles, companion bikes and a power-assisted wheelchair transporter. All this enables people with disabilities or mobility issues, to enjoy riding in a safe, outdoor space.

Its sessions are inclusive for disabled people and their families, carers or friends to enjoy. With the support of the qualified instructors and volunteers, Cycle Without Limits is committed to removing or overcoming any barriers and helping Islanders enjoy the physical and mental health benefits that cycling offers regardless of age, impairment or ability .
