Les Amis thanks GR8 Recruitment volunteers

Mar 27, 2023

Les Amis would like to thank the GR8 Recruitment team for volunteering with us this March.

A group of thirteen seasonal construction workers from Kenya, St Lucia and the Philippines generously gave up their weekend to help people with learning disabilities, by sprucing up the residents’ gardens before the summer.

The GR8 employees have committed to volunteering six weekends a year to do charity work within the local community.

With 40 sites to maintain across the Island, including 12 homes for adults with learning disabilities, Les Amis is incredibly grateful for their help.

We hope that the GR8 team enjoyed their volunteering session and felt appreciated for the difference they have made to our residents’ gardens. Our maintenance team were genuinely humbled by the GR8 team’s work ethic and generosity of spirit.

If your team or business is interested in volunteering, employee engagement and/or community partnership opportunities, please contact our Head of Charitable Income & Partnerships, Yenni Kusumo by email: pr.fundraising@lesamis.org.je
