Although our residents and service users all receive their entitled Long-Term Care (LTC) payments from the Government of Jersey, these payments are only enough to cover their care and basic living costs. We therefore fundraise to cover the items that fall outside of the LTC remit such as transport costs, access to social events, new furniture and work equipment and clothes.
Les Amis run several annual events such as our VW Camper Van Raffle, Flag week and Family Fun Day that aid in not only raising much-needed funds but also allowing our residents and service users to participate in community events and raise the profile of the charity.
For companies and organisations, we offer Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) opportunities to support the work we do through volunteering and sponsorship from local businesses.
