We are currently recruiting for a Clinical Operations Manager, who will oversee the management of nursing staff and support worker teams at Les Amis. The role will include the day-to-day management of the Les Amis complex need and Dementia Unit, taking care of budget and resource management, as well as setting the clinical standards in the care of residents.
The Clinical Operations Manager as the Lead Nurse will be expected to be responsible for the service and make clinical or managerial decisions about individuals care and needs.
The ideal candidate will have a thorough knowledge of the NMC Code (2015) and will be expected to keep fully up to date in developments within their professional discipline. They should be a 1st Level Registered Nurse with 5 years post qualifying experience, with a Management or Leadership qualification. They will work closely with the Board of Directors and the Planning Team to develop the service, playing a key role in recruitment and retention of staff working in the Unit.
This senior post within our charitable organisation will strengthen the care we already provide to over 150 residents and service users of all ages. The successful candidate will be expected to give advice and guidance to Support Workers and to clinical Nurses, making influential clinical decisions.

We are continuing to raise funds for the new Complex Need and Dementia Unit which will home those on the island with learning difficulties suffering from dementia. It is estimated that approximately 1600 people are living with a form of dementia in Jersey, with this figure set to double in the next 20 years People with learning disabilities are five times more likely to develop dementia so Les Amis are working hard to meet the growing need of the learning disability community. Les Amis are actively recruiting the best people to their team to succeed in this challenge.
