How you can help

Giving is not just about making a donation, it is about making a difference.

Community presence and community participation are fundamental in all we do here at Les Amis.

Corporate Partnerships

Investing in a local charity offers benefits to not only the charity, but to the organisation making the investment.

Without the generosity of the public, the lives of Les Amis’ residents would not be as full.

Your legacy can continue to make a real difference to people’s lives.

Stewart Mourant MBE

Chair and Trustee, Les Amis Inc.

“I’m very proud to have been the Chairman of the Board of Directors for Les Amis for so many years and to now be the Chairman of the Board of Trustees. It’s a vibrant and successful charity that brings a world of difference to people with learning difficulties and their families.”

Stewart joined the committee of Mencap over 25 years ago, shortly after one of his granddaughters was born with Down Syndrome. He became Chairman of Mencap and during this time was involved with the activities of Les Amis before joining the charity’s Board of Directors.

Before he retired, Stewart was a farmer who managed a large herd of Jersey cattle.

Stewart has a wide range of experience in the voluntary sector, supporting several local charities and the Parish of St Helier honorary system, including holding the role of Procurer de Bien Public for 6 years.

Back to all.
