Claire Martin

"I originally started working for Les Amis in 2002 as a residential support worker then as a care co-ordinator in the busy respite service. In 2009, after an 18 month sabbatical, I was lucky enough to be able to return to Les Amis as a support worker.

After 7 very fulfilling years supporting our residents with their daily lives I was given the opportunity to move to the Head Office in 2006 to take over the role of Residential Administrator, offering support to the Heads of Compliance, registered managers and their residents across our fifteen community based homes.

This new role is as busy and varied as my last and as with all my time at Les Amis I have been supported in my learning and development and offered opportunities to face new challenges. Alongside my daily role I am currently involved in the implementation of the GSF within Les Amis and it is great to be part of something that will raise the levels of care we give our residents even further.

There have been many changes to Les Amis in my time here, but our core values have always been kept central to new developments, and I’m very proud to work for a company that so clearly puts the respect for our residents and the quality of support we aim to provide them at the forefront of everything we do."
